Lakeview is located in Boonville, Mo.  We are growing but still consider ourselves small town.  We are just 30 miles from Columbia, and many of our residents receive care through Boone Hospital or the University of Missouri.  Transportation to appointments is provided, and your family member can ride with you.  We have medical providers who come to the facility so that you do not have to go out if you would rather not.  We receive regular visits from the optometrist, podiatrist, and psychiatrist.  Nurse practitioners visit the facility weekly, and primary care physicians once per month.  We also have a counsellor and a beautician who visit at least monthly.

Meals are served in the dining room, food ordered from a menu.  If you cannot find something you like on the menu, our cooks will listen to your preferences, and find something you can enjoy.

We offer an enclosed courtyard with raised gardening surfaces so that you can work with flowers or vegetables even if you must do so from a wheelchair.  We have two covered porches with a view of the lake.  It is not uncommon to see rabbits and deer.  With the lake owner’s permission, you can even fish!
